Bug#266362: On startup, complains that font -misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--15-140-75-75-c-90-iso10646-1 is not available, but it is
Package: konsole
Version: 4:3.3.0-1
Severity: normal
Hi,
since a few months ago, each time I start konsole, a little window pops up,
saying:
Font
`-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--15-140-75-75-c-90-iso10646-1'
not found.
Check README.linux.console for help.
I did check README.linux.console; I have the xfonts-konsole package
installed, I did the dpkg-reconfigure thing and fc-cache -f, and still get
the message.
The font is available; I can select it in xfontsel and start e.g. xterm with
it. Why does konsole think it's not there?
Also, the custom font selection dialog should allow the user to select an
encoding and/or enter a full X font specifier, imho.
