Package: kmix
Version: 4:3.1.1-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

There were issues discussed in debian-kde mailing list about missing
alsa support in kmix-build.

Please update kmix (and whole kdemultimedia) to at least 3.1.4 and
use the following additional configure flags:
    --enable-audio=oss,alsa --with-alsa

Please lso update the build-depends to include libasound2-dev. Don't care for a
wrong warning at configure output like:
checking for snd_cards in -lasound... no
No linkable libasound was found.

I tested it and here it links and runs fine.
It then gives control to all setting like alsamixer does.

Thanks

Hendrik Sattler
