Package: kdebase
Version: 4:3.1.2-1
Severity: minor

When a menu item from the Debian menu system has a title which contains
the '/' character, a sub-menu is generated with all characters before
the '/' character, then a menu-item is created under that with the full
title.

For example, in the simh package:
  ?package(simh):needs=text section=Apps/Emulators\
    title="SIMH Honeywell 316/516" command="/usr/bin/h316"

Generates the menu structure:
  Utilities
    Emulators
      SIMH Honeywell 316
        SIMH Honeywell 316/516

I believe this bug has been fixed with KDE 3.2 in sid, at least I can
see the menu entry you mention perfectly fine. If you still have
problems please follow up to the bug.

Thanks,
Chris Cheney
