Bug#236515: x-session-manager symlink broken after upgrade
Package: ksmserver
Version: 4:3.2.1-1
Older versions of KDE apparently used /usr/bin/kde3 to start a KDE
session. If the x-session-manager alternative was previously pointed at
this program (eg, after an upgrade from an older KDE), the alternative
is not removed by either the old postinst or the new one, with the
result that x-session-manager becomes a broken link. On at least one
system that I have seen, this resulted in users being unable to log in.
