Ok, strictly speaking this is not a bug since KDE 3.2 is not in Debian
yet (so feel free to close this bug). The KDE packages are the
semi-official ones from experimental and
people.kde.org/~ccheney/kde-3.2.0

I suppose koffice and kde maintainers need to sort that out between
them.

Ben,

I have been told before that you should not use conflicts for a case
like this, at least long term. If you have a package that takes over
files from another package it should just Replaces it. From what I was
told my over zealous Conflicts/Replaces was what caused KDE not to be
upgradeable from woody -> sid. I am closing this bug now since I am in
the process of uploading KDE 3.2.1.
