After you upgrad SPE to version 0.8.2a+repack-1,
/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/_spe/doc/ is empty.

You can see that simply lauching SPE. It trigs this error :
"Unable to open requested HTML document:
/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/_spe/doc/donate.html"

SPE remains usable but all the doc is missing.
