Package: autofs
Version: 4.1.3-4

After a recent update, part of my autofs - setup, that used to run smoothly,
suddenly broke. I had a /etc/auto.something map, intended to magically mount a
subdirectory of /something, with indeed only a single line, and that single
line was missing the final newline.

This map used to work, but ceised to work after the update to the new autofs
version.

It was really weird: This directory /something, where the stuff was to be
mounted, would disappear each time I ran

    /etc/init.d/autofs start

Also, I did not get any useful message. Such as "trailing newline missing". But
instead all I got was

Nov 25 20:06:04 euklid automount[22409]: failed to load map, exiting

- not very enlightening.

Regards, and thank you for providing fine software.

Andreas
