I think perhaps its time to fork the DPN and allow a differnt set of editors to create something new and different. It has become clear that the current DPN is not consensus driven but rather is captive to an agenda that doesn't serve the Debian community. The current situation is already significantly hurting contribution and productivity and shows no signs of improving. 

What are our options here? Can we resuscitate the old name, Debian Weekly News, and use the same facility to publish a separate newsletter which would allow a broader, more inclusive view of the Debian Project? Contribution would be welcome from everyone, you wouldn't have to be a so-called "editor" to contribute, you only have to have some relevant Debian news.

Tolimar, zack, what is the way forward here?
