Re: who reads debian partners inbox?

Hi,

this is mostly a summary post with a suggestion for a solution at the end.

I think it's a shame that announcemnets cannot be send because it seems noone
knows who can read this inbox.

See http://www.debian.org/partners/partners if you dont know about the Debian
partners programm.

http://www.debian.org/intro/organization says that it has one member (who can
read that inbox), which is Jim Westveer. His last public email is from
http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2006/02/msg00380.html - so Debian
partners has been dead since two years, I asume.

The DPL was informed, but I dont really know what we expect from him:

<pabs> http://lists.debian.org/debian-publicity/2008/08/msg00062.html
<Sledge> ok, seen it
<Sledge> looks like we need some cleanup there

I think we need to come with a list of people who should get access to that
inbox and then ask debian-admin to implement it. (Thats why I made this
summary, but then refrained from sending it to debian-admin as there is
nothing they can do now.)

Andre Machado seems like a good candidate for this to me (judging from his
publicity work - but I dont think he is a DD nor in NM, not sure if this is
really needed though, esp. if he is only one from many), plus the usual
suspects, tolimar, jmm and stockholm ;-)

regards,
	Holger
