OpenOffice.org has a marketing sub-project
Hello,
Found that OpenOffice.org has a marketing project with site[0].
I read the entire (58 pg) impressive strategic marketing plan (yes, they have a detailed one; a 6 month collective effort).
Hope that Debian Project could use some of the ideas there, and create its own plans .
One for the "product" and one for the "community" (attract and keep developers).
Please, read the document (at the end of the cited page) and make your own conclusions.
There are, also, some other interesting readings if you want a more "similar" (not equal) to Debian needs approach [1], [2], [3], [4].
