Since you used quotation marks, this suggests you are referencing the verbatim words of an individual. I am curious about this quote. Was it a Debian Developer who said this? I find it hard to believe a fellow DD would propose such a shallow view. Your points in this paragraph should enjoy consensus within both the Debian and Ubuntu spheres of influence. A healthy ecosystem will benefit both of us.
