I downgraded the severity, since even though I don't fully understand
the bug report yet, it doesn't make the package completely unusable

What does that mean, "turn into cups-pdf"? Can you please attach
/var/log/cups/error_log and give me the output of "lpstat -p -v" right
after initial configuration (which you can do after purging and
reinstalling cups), and after a reboot?
Please provide some more details, so that we can understand what the
problem is. Thank you!
