Slow internet browsing broadcom 4306 rev 3

I have debian 5.0 and everything is up and running now, but my
wireless seems to be very slow compared to the macintosh sitting right
next to it when it is connected to the wireless network.  Is there
anyway to trouble shoot this to make it faster, or is this a
broadcom/linux not getting along thing?
