Modprobe crash with AEC-6280 Acard PCI-card
Hi everybody,
I am running Debian Sarge on an old PowerMac G4,
> uname -a
Linux backup 2.6.8-powerpc #1 Thu Nov 24 00:17:15 UTC 2005 ppc GNU/
Linux

Since I want to use the machine as a file server, I intend
to add an AEC-6280 Acard PCI-card to connect some more IDE
harddrives.
After installing the card, the machine boots and crashes; I
only have a small screen but what I see is more or less this
(warning: I manually copied this from the screen).

What could be the cause of this?
Thanks for any help,
Kaspar
P.S. I had a problem with this card before, on another machine,
see http://lists.debian.org/debian-powerpc/2006/02/msg00164.html.
