laptop-mode-tools on iBook 12" mid-2005

Hi all !

I am running Debian sid on my ibook, and decided to install the
laptop-mode-tools package to save power. However, I noticed that with
this package installed, the battery life was LOWER than without (about
30+ minutes less).

Does anybody use this package with a noticeable improvement of battery
life ? If yes, I would appreciate very much to see his/her
laptop-mode.conf.
If not, I think I will simply remove this package.
