Re: sudden power loss (WAS: sudden power loss on tibook)



Coming in late on this thread, I've also been experiencing this on a G3 
dual-usb iBook2. Currently running Debian Unstable with all the suspect 
daemons, just switched to powernowd flavour of cpufreq stuff. It's 
impressionistically better than it was recently, but it's still going on.

Mm, mine tends to be running very hot when it powers down, but I'm pretty sure 
the fan has been engaged since this problem emerged (albeit rarely). Once the 
machine has lost power once, it does seem to be rather more ready to lose 
power again, but this is very subjective of course...
