It might be a bad combination with xorg, or a problem specific to recent
kernels. Apparently, it's fixed by making sure AGP Mode is set to X
(that is a bit weird as really recent kernels will disable AGP on
sleep,; but maybe ubuntu doesn't have those patches yet).
