configuring external Orinoco pcmcia under kernel 2.6

have searched for kernel config tips to succesfully run an external orinoco 
pcmcia card under woody and 2.6 kernel/

any recomendations or even configs for a tibook500mzh will make a good 
document that i will do for our local wireless project.
