Howto boot iMac from floppy?

Synopsis: iMac Rev. B CD-ROM won't boot sarge netinst. How to create
iMac yaboot boot flopp(y|ies)?

For whatever reason, the machine I'm banging my head on won't boot
from the sarge netinst CD. This is the second CD I've tried that's
failed. This one, I burned myself at speed=2. I suspect something's
wrong with this old iMac's CD drive. Either that, or I missed
something important in my reading up on this. No amount of booting
holding down the "C" key produces any sort of recognition of the CD
from this thing.

So, given I have the sarge powerpc netinst CD, what do I do to boot
the thing from floppies (I have a Superdisk/LS-120 drive)? My Dell
laptop can read and write hfs floppies. What from the CD do I copy to
the floppy, and where on the floppy do I copy it? Is this sufficient
(this is an hfs formatted floppy, mounted on x86 Linux):

(0) keeling /cdrom/install/powerpc_ all /floppy
total 153
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 12 Aug 18 22:19 ./
drwxr-xr-x 26 root root 1024 Feb 21 22:45 ../
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root root 753 Aug 18 22:19 boot.msg*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Aug 18 22:14 Desktop*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Aug 18 22:13 DesktopPrinters DB*
dr-xr-xr-x 2 root root 12 Aug 18 22:19 .finderinfo/
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root root 1855 Aug 18 22:19 ofboot.b*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Aug 18 22:14 OpenFolderListDF:0d*
dr-xr-xr-x 2 root root 12 Aug 18 22:19 .resource/
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 300 Aug 18 22:19 .rootinfo
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root root 145828 Aug 18 22:19 yaboot*
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root root 2578 Aug 18 22:19 yaboot.conf*

On the Mac, am I supposed to copy any of that into the Mac's HD?
Where?

Where on the netinst CD are the boot-floppy images? I see:

(0) keeling /cdrom/install/powerpc_ all
total 16655
dr-xr-xr-x 3 root root 2048 Aug 5 13:45 ./
dr-xr-xr-x 5 root root 2048 Aug 11 15:47 ../
dr-xr-xr-x 2 root root 2048 Aug 5 13:45 2.4/
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 3518944 Aug 3 17:42 initrd.gz
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 1503 Aug 3 17:42 initrd.list
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 3883776 Aug 3 17:44 vmlinux
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 4855390 Aug 3 17:59 vmlinuz-chrp.initrd
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 4787714 Aug 3 17:59 vmlinuz-prep.initrd

None of those will fit on a 1.44Mb floppy.

Sorry if this sounds numbskulled. I just haven't had a lot of success
finding stuff that explained how yaboot+iMac+netinst+floppies work.
