kernel-image-2.6.7-powerpc: errors "modprobe.conf: No such file or directory"

I've just installed kernel-image-2.6.7-powerpc and I got:

cpio: /etc/modprobe.conf: No such file or directory
cpio: /lib/modules/modprobe.conf: No such file or directory

Is it normal or is it a bug?
