They don't. They just use a different boot loader wrapper.

Yes, sure. Altough i suppose it would be a prep/uboot/whatever subarch.

Please go the 2.6 way, which has much less problems with these, and even won't
need mkimage, since there is a uboot target in arch/ppc/boot/simple. Proper
support can then be added to mkvmlinuz.
