On my 12" PowerBook (1.33GHz), I compiled a snapshot of XFree86 using
XFree86-4.4.99.5.tar.gz found on xfree86.org and it worked (using 2.6.6 and
now 2.6.7-rc3 kernel, under Debian/Sid).
