The Cirrus Logic should be supported by clgen. Used to work on PReP a long time
ago.


But was never ported to 2.6, i think, at least there is no 2.6 clgen
driver available, and this it is not builtin the kernel.

On 2.4.25-powerpc it is a modular driver, which is probably the cause of
your problem. I will build it in next time i build a 2.4.25 kernel.


At least, i saw a BOOTX_TEXT feature into 2.6.5 kernel declared as Early boot text for OpenFirmware/BootX. I don't know the details of it, and i cannot find it anymore...

What i need now, is a waranty that i have at least one mean to install the debian on this machine. clgen should not be the problem, as i am using serial console. If i have the machine with debian working fine, i could use it to test any d-i you want (It's just a backup server...), and i will be happy of it.
