As mentioned in the thread, probably the best way to configure X, at
least for a standard machine like a laptop, is to install the necessary
apps and then find someone else's XFree86 file :). This, and making some
good initial decisions about your disk partitioning, are likely to be
the most complicated things you come across in your installation.
