Re: Radeon 7000 and Powermac 9500

In my syslog I don't find radeonfb..... The radeon is a mac edition.
I remember that I have done some modification to have Open Firmware on the Screen with the rage 128 (not to have it on the serial port).... but I don't think it's that.

It seems I have done an error on my kernel configuration... My radeon works well on my G4.

With the Rage:
Jan 2 19:25:41 daisy kernel: Console: colour dummy device 80x25
....
Jan 2 19:25:41 daisy kernel: Journalled Block Device driver loaded
Jan 2 19:25:41 daisy kernel: PCI: Enabling device 00:0d.0 (0086 -> 0087) Jan 2 19:25:41 daisy kernel: aty128fb: Rage128 RE (PCI) [chip rev 0x2] 16M 128-bit SDR SGRAM (1:1) Jan 2 19:25:41 daisy kernel: Console: switching to colour frame buffer device 128x48 Jan 2 19:25:41 daisy kernel: fb0: ATY Rage128 frame buffer device on PCI
Jan 2 19:25:41 daisy kernel: pty: 256 Unix98 ptys configured
Jan 2 19:25:41 daisy kernel: block: 128 slots per queue, batch=32
Jan  2 19:25:41 daisy kernel: fd0: SWIM3 floppy controller

With the radeon:
Jan 2 18:20:33 daisy kernel: Console: colour dummy device 80x25
....
Jan 2 18:20:33 daisy kernel: PCI: Enabling device 01:0d.0 (0004 -> 0007) Jan 2 18:20:33 daisy kernel: eth1: RealTek RTL8139 Fast Ethernet at 0xd501f000, 00:40:f4:50:f3:11, IRQ 27

Is the Radeon card a 'Mac' version, or re-flashed with an OF ROM?
Otherwise, OF can't do the required low level initialisation of the
card.

If it is, is there any trace of radeonfb in the dmesg output?
