VGA-out not working any longer on old TiBook 400
Hello!
I've a bunch of questions about the m3mirror/vga-out and XFree with the
current ppc-kernel on an old TiBook 400:
Since a kernel update from 2.4.19 to 2.4.20 and now to 2.4.23 I cannot
use the VGA output any longer, I can switch it on/off (using m3mirror),
but the signal produces a funny colorfull but almost random pixelized
CRT image, the LCD image is uneffected and OK. I also updated the XFree
(current Debian/unstable) and in addition noted DRI is broken now:-(
All I want is mirroring again for presentations...!
Any ideas?
My system is a Debian/testing,unstable:
Linux charon 2.4.23-pre5-ben0 #1 SMP Sat Oct 18 23:30:04 CEST 2003 ppc
GNU/Linux
I'm a little wondering why r128 is "unused" - X is running fine in
framebuffer mode, except DRI is off:
r128 110592 0 (unused)
drmlib 50404 0 [r128]
agpgart 18864 1
XFree86 Version 4.2.1.1 (Debian 4.2.1-13 20031027175143
branden@deadbeast.net) / X Window System
