Re: optimizing my debian



I have run 64MB systems before.

1. Do not use any gnome or kde stuff. sorry, too big!

2. use fluxbox, blacbox, ratpoision  for window
manager

3. your ps -ef shows many more processes than mine,
but I do not recognize some of them.

I also see the last time you compiled a kernel was 8
months ago. perhaps an upgrade will help a little.
