That's true.  I'm basing my hunch that it'll work on X' current tendancy
not to fix it when it's broken (=booted with yaboot) and not to break it
when it's working (=booted with BootX).  Sure, I'm being optimistic in
expecting X to restore things as it found them.

The kernel should do all the initialization it needs, of course.
