I've lost my damn patchsets - the disk they were on was dropped when I
was moving. Under warranty, but data recovery is not. *sigh* Basically,
IIRC, it was a fairly easy and clean port from the x86 mca tree. Bear in
mind, this ONLY works with MCA *STANDARD*. This does NOT work with
MCA40, MCA80, MCA120, or MCA160. I don't have my specs books unpacked
yet, so I don't know if the 7248 is unsupported MCA. I suspect, however,
that it *is* standard MCA.

Other problem is the 250 *may* be 604e X5. 604e X5 MMU behaves oddly
still, from what I've heard, and is to be considered unsupported as of
yet as far as I'm concerned. If somebody's got otherwise, please let me
know, and let me know where you found your 604e X5 - I'd like to ge tmy
hands on one or two.

Finally, bear in mind, I recall that I had some strangeness with MCA
devices - mostly that they were losing their configs at boot for some
reason, post init. I do NOT know if this is fixed or what was even
causing it. If anyone else has experienced/looked into/fixed this bug,
please let me know. Also, if anyone has *any* PowerPC machines of any
flavour for sale, I'm buying. I'm currently PowerPC-less and will be
till I buy a new one. Can't afford to continue leases, and they were up
last month. Thanks.
