Upstream 1.245 has fixes for some test failure, but that seems
unrelated. Upstream Git has even more test failure fixes, that seem
unrelated too. No relevant ticket in CPAN's RT, no similar build
failure on CPAN Testers, no similar issue on upstream bug tracker
(https://bugzilla.gnome.org/browse.cgi?product=gnome-perl).

I think the way to go is to package current upstream Git
(git://git.gnome.org/perl-Gtk2) locally and see if it changes
anything.

If the FTBFS still happens, then this should be forwarded upstream:
