Re: Consolidating changelog entries for the same author?
I can only describe what Gregor has done to my changelogs in the
past. Generally he seems to remove a line from a stanza if it is made
pointless by a later stanza. In theory that could remove a whole stanza
but I don't think it has in my case.
We had a particular issue over what to do with multiple stanza for
an initial release.

Apparently, some of the changelog editing tools may add two sections for
the same author in the same changelog entry if somebody else has written
something else in the meantime; cf. the libimage-librsvg-perl changelog
at rev. 60795. Is it okay for other team members to consolidate the
entries in later updates, as I've done in rev. 67659 with the changelog
of libhttp-request-params-perl? Or is there a reason people would want
two stanzas in the changelog?
Again, sorry if I'm wasting everyone's time with a stupid question :)
