Minor issue with dh-make-perl?

I'm gearing up to package Devel::CallTrace.  But when I dh-make-perl
--cpan Devel::CallTrace, the .orig.tar.gz is named
libdevel-calltrace-perl_0undef.orig.tar.gz, and after I build the
package, lintian reports native-package-with-dash-version.  After
checking
http://lintian.debian.org/reports/tags/native-package-with-dash-version.html,
I can only think that this might be to do with the undef in the name.
Can someone assist please?  I'm a little confused.
