Version: 1.0.3-2
Severity: important

Dear Debian OpenOffice Team,

I have OpenOffice.org installed on my laptop along with cupsys-client
and cupsys-bsd. The CUPS client is configured to connect to one of the
hosts on my network. OpenOffice takes ages to start if my laptop is
offline as the "lpc status" command it calls only times out after 3
minutes. I've confirmed that this is the problem as OpenOffice loads up
normally if I uninstall all CUPS clients on my laptop when it is
unplugged from the network. Could you please force OpenOffice to
background or timeout lpc earlier?

Yours sincerely,
Andrew "Netsnipe" Lau

Seems to be fixed in the 1.1 branch of OpenOffice.org

Cheers,
