Finally, we took the plunge :)
Rene has uploaded 1.0.1-5 to unstable/contrib. The new version will also
become available on the mirrors when they next sync.
The changelog for the new version is available at the bottom of this mail.
The main highlights:
* Moved to gcc-3.2 for both architectures
* Disabled patented LZW compression code
* gcc3.2 and libstlport build-dependencies now available in unstable
* English help is available in a new package (openoffice.org-help-en) and
can be installed alongside any language pack.
* language packs have shrunk from 15MB->2.5MB because of the help removal
* and many small changes
