I fully support Guo Yixuan's application to become a Debian Maintainer for

 * he communicates very well
   - to me as his sponsor and
   - to various upstream developers
 * he is investigative
   - finds documentation - unasked
   - finds bugs
 * he is constructive
   - finds fixes to those bugs and to that of others
   - directs others (and me at times) in a nice way to improve some little corner of the world
 * he cares for Debian
   - the is already a Debian microenvironment locally to him
   - already maintains three different groups of packages (gcc stuff, boinc stuff, pod2pdf),
     seems like me being his only sponsor so far
 * he is good

Well, you guessed that last one from the other items. I happily have
him take over the maintenance of a series of packages of mine, please
let him in.

With many thanks to Guo Yixuan for his current and future work on Debian

Steffen
