I would like to advocate أحمد المحمودي (Ahmed El-Mahmoudy) for becoming a Debian Maintainer. He has done a great job co-maintaining many packages with the Debian Electronics Packaging Team. I have sponsored many of his uploads, and I can attest that his work has always been high-quality. Beyond that, he is technically capable, motivated, and easy to work with. I think having him as a Debian Maintainer is a great idea.
