Bug#448762: audacity uses lame, but Debian uses twolame
Package: audacity
Version: 1.2.4b-2.1
Severity: normal
As it is packaged, audacity doesn't let you export to mp3 without using
non-Debian packages, since it is expecting you to have libmp3lame.so,
but the lame replacement in debian has only libtwolame.so ... So
audacity package should use libtwolame instead of libmp3lame.
I'm sorry for the severity, I think that this or "normal" or
"wishlist"... I just didn't tag it as an wishlist entry since I consider
this as needed to enhance Debian's usability.
Best regards,
Marcos Marado
