[Note: I updated the package to backport a patch from 1.2.5, which
both a reporter and upstream agree should close #379900. Please, if you
deem the package uploadable, do grab the new version first, from the
same URL:

Not at all. I have no /etc/apt/preferences in the chroot. After adding
the private repository and doing an apt-get update I get

root@caribdis:/# apt-cache policy liferea
liferea:
  Installed: 1.0.27-1
  Candidate: 1.0.27-2
  Version table:
     1.0.27-2 0
        500 http://localhost unstable/main Packages
 *** 1.0.27-1 0
        500 http://localhost unstable/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

root@caribdis:/# apt-get dist-upgrade

The following NEW packages will be installed:
  libmozjs0d libnspr4-0d libnss3-0d libxt6 libxul-common libxul0d liferea-xulrunner
The following packages have been kept back:
  liferea

But

root@caribdis:/# aptitude dist-upgrade

The following NEW packages will be automatically installed:
  libmozjs0d libnspr4-0d libnss3-0d libxt6 libxul-common libxul0d liferea-xulrunner
The following packages will be automatically REMOVED:
  liferea-gtkhtml
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  libmozjs0d libnspr4-0d libnss3-0d libxt6 libxul-common libxul0d liferea-xulrunner
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  liferea-gtkhtml
The following packages will be upgraded:
  libdb4.3 liferea

(libdb4.3 gets upgraded because it's a two days old sid chroot :-)

/me is lost.

PD. BTW, the real-time thing would probably not work, we have a 17 hour
time difference :-(
