This library was always distributed statically only (not on Debian but on other places, because it's not available on Debian yet). There are very little programs that use it on Debian (using the static version of this library, included on their own source code). Thinking better I see that I will distribute the statically only library too (and not build a Debian specific shared library). Best regards, Nelson
