This was (and maybe still is) a lintian bug. It can't cope with all
the different ways of testing if $1 is "remove". FWIW, I changed the
postrm in libgimpprint1 to do:
if [ "$1" = "remove" ]; then
ldconfig
fi
BTW, nowadays dephelper (dh_makeshlibs) adds the ldconfig call for you
automatically, so you don't need to do it yourself (assuming you're
packaging a shared library here).
