Re: Lintian error - "newer-standards-version"

This is a two-fold bug in lintian which I have reported already:

(a) Lintian does not yet know about 2.5.0.0; it was written in the
    2.4.X.Y days.
(b) The warning that your control file refers to a newer standards
    version is only a warning, so should be introduced by W: and not
    E:.

So don't worry about it.
