Just use the date (e.g. 19980419-1); that's how snapshots were numbered in
the past. When there's a new egcs release with working objc-compiler, dpkg's
"epoch" functionality can be used to handle this (as it did with the first
LEADERSHIP A form of self-preservation exhibited by people with auto-
destructive imaginations in order to ensure that when it comes to the crunch
it'll be someone else's bones which go crack and not their own.
