Nature Biotechnology published this month a commentary about cloud computing:

Among the “standardized machine images with software tools and configuration
settings optimized for biomedical research”, the commentary mentions Cloud
Bio-Linux (http://www.jcvi.org/cms/research/projects/jcvi-cloud-biolinux/) as
“the most ambitious”.
