some time ago, i've put a todo regarding documentation here:

the idea is to have three ressources only in the end:
* manpages in live-helper/live-initramfs that only lists the
available options in form of a reference.
* volatile content on live.debian.net wiki
* static content in live-manual (accessible on live.debian.net/manual)
