"Buggy" is opinable.  E.g.: Mr. Schilling claims cdrkit is highly buggy
and that cdrtools is (nearly) perfect, while others probably think that
cdrkit is better than cdrtools.

On the other hand, I think that cdrkit maintainers are *very* far from
pretending cdrkit were all original work by Mr. Schilling.
Actually the wodim package description does not mention cdrtools or Mr.
Schilling in any way.
The debian/copyright file mentions Mr. Schilling in the "other authors"
list, rather than in "upstream maintainers" one.
