GPL violates DFSG point 3
Hello,
Please forgive me if this has already been raised
but I cannot imagine how to search the archives
to see if it has.
It occurs to me that the GPL itself violates section
3 of the DFSG, it cannot be freely modified.
(See: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#ModifyGPL)
Do not many of the tarballs contain the GPL and does this
not cause a problem in that the tarball is then tainted
with non-free content?
Yes, it's a nit. It may not be worth picking but
surely it's worth a good hard stare.
Regards,
