Upon further thought, I'm not sure if we reached a consensus on that; it
was certainly a while ago. I hereby retract the statement that we found
both the be DFSG violations. I appologize for any confusion I caused.
However, as far as I know, Debian is not able to fulfill "you must keep
it for X years" requirements with its current FTP archive set up, so its
a moot point.
