Just to be clear: "fair use" means in USC 17 and in Brazilian "Author's rights act", that copying any copyrighted work for: academic quotation/commentary/study, parody and some others (I'll look it up later) is granted, and without copyright protection. "First sale doctrine" means that if you have some license, you can pass it along to another party (losing your license, of course).
