New Version of Aspell English Dictionary Now Available (fwd)

I hope everybody is happy now.

Since it is the DEC wordlist caused a problem someone should really update
the wenglish package with something else since it is based on the DEC
wordlist. Perhapes you should use the wordlist for Aspell or if that is
not large enough something from SCOWL.

Subject: New Version of Aspell English Dictionary Now Available

A new version of Aspell's English dictionary is now available at
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/aspell-en-0.51-0.tar.bz2 or off of the Aspell
home page http://aspell.net.

Changes for 0.51-0: January 3, 2003

  Updated to SCOWL 5 which:

Added variants that were not really spelling variants (such as
    forwards)

Removed some spelling variants and other strange words from the
    word list (for example meaneing).

Removed rarely used inflections of a word.

Removed the DEC Word List due to the questionable license and
because removing it will not seriously decrease the quality of SCOWL
(there are a few less proper names).

    Among others.
