use the packages at http://www.nixnuts.net/files/. he guy there has
created Xorg packages for debian with the latest DRI enabled. I'm using
them with my savage IX. I think (although am not sure) that the prosavage
is supported. Give them a try and read through the stuff at
http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/FrontPage as the sourceforge stuff is no
longer up to date
